A Madison man has been convicted of firing a gun from his vehicle at another vehicle in Fox Lake last September. A Dodge County jury found 22 year old Anthony McCaskill Jr. guilty on charges of discharging a firearm towards a person, endangering safety/reckless use of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of THC. A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered. The incident unfolded September 13th after McCaskill and his girlfriend got into an argument with other people at the Fox Lake Kwik Trip. Then after leaving the convenience store, McCaskill fired shots at the other vehicle while traveling on Highway A. Bullets struck the vehicle, but no one was injured. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for April 8th.
