The influenza season got off to a slow start, but Wisconsin Department of Health Services officials say flu cases are increasing in Wisconsin. Fond du lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says there have been very few flu cases reported locally. “We got our first of influenza the beginning of this year which is much later than we normally do,” Mueller told WFDL news. “…we’ve had one hospitilization to date. So I would say the amount of individuals overall in Fond du Lac County with influenza is much less than it was last year.” Mueller says its not too late to get a flu shot.
