Nobody was injured and a Fond du lac man is in custody following a domestic incident over the weekend. Shortly after 5pm Saturday police were called to a a report of domestic dispute between a man and woman at a residence in the 100 block of North Marr Street. Police say the 29 year old man had armed himself with a knife. When patrol officers initially arrived on scene, the suspect had barricaded himself in a bathroom of the residence and refused to exit. The female victim and her children were able to safely exit the residence. Patrol officers negotiated at length with the suspect to exit, but he refused to comply. The Police SWAT team was called to the scene. Eventually negotiators were able to have the suspect surrender to police without further incident. The suspect is being held in custody on several charges related to this incident as well as a previous domestic incident along with outstanding warrants and probation hold.
