3-25-16 fdl county board approves alliance laundry systems incentive package

Two years after approving a loan package to help a Ripon industry expand, the Fond du lac County Board has approved another incentive package for an additional expansion project at the company.  At a special meeting Thursday night the Fond du Lac County board approved a resolution to enter into a third party agreement with Alliance Laundry Systems of Ripon to provide another incentive package to help the company expand a warehouse and create new jobs.  County executive Al Buechel says the incentive is $1,000 per job up to 202 new jobs.  “If they build a new warehouse in Ripon which is larger than what they have today, that’ll be $1250 instead of $1000 per job up to 202 jobs,”  Buechel told WFDL news.  “Its incentivizing them to make that investment in Ripon and adding the jobs.  Its very critical that (company) doesn’t move somewhere else.”   Buechel says its great for the company and for Fond du Lac County.  Alliance Laundry director of financial planning and internal reporting Bob Wallace says the project still needs approval from the company’s board of directors.
