3-20-16 state supreme court fundraising

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley has raised nearly $480,000 in the past two months, about $100,000 more than Appeals Court Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg in their race for a 10-year term on the high court. Campaign finance reports covering Feb. 2 to March 21 have been submitted to the Government Accountability Board.  Bradley spent about $439,000 during the reporting period and had nearly $149,000 cash on hand ahead of next Tuesday’s election. She also had about $103,000 in loans.  Kloppenburg raised almost $380,000. She spent about $450,000 and had $197,000 on hand. She also had $157,000 in outstanding loans.  Outside groups have spent heavily in the race. The Republican Party of Wisconsin and the conservative Wisconsin Alliance for Reform backed Bradley and the liberal Greater Wisconsin Committee supported Kloppenburg.
