3-31-16 marquette poll-state supreme court race

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A new poll shows a close race between Rebecca Bradley and JoAnne Kloppenburg in their bitter fight for a 10-year spot on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  The data from Marquette University released Wednesday indicates Bradley with 41 percent support from likely voters, a slim advantage over Kloppenburg, at 36 percent, based on the poll’s margin of error. About 18 percent of respondents were undecided.   The Marquette Law School Poll was conducted Thursday through Monday, sampling 957 likely voters for the high court election by cellphone or landline. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.  Poll director Charles Franklin calls Bradley’s edge notable, but not massive and notes that the large percentage of undecided voters leaves room for either candidate ahead of the election Tuesday.
