In an exclusive interview on AM 1170’s Between the Lines program, Jane Sanders, says as people get to know her husband they realize this is where he stands on the issues he is passionate about. Responding to critics who argue universal health care and free college are unrealistic. “Right now, Greg, if you’re running for president why would the message be lower your sights? Why wouldn’t people expect a bold vision from a leader? If now is not the time to have a bold vision, when is?” Jane Sanders says the fact is every other industrialized nation in the world has free health care as a right of citizenship. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders is attracting thousands of people in Wisconsin’s liberal capital city for the second time in less than four days. Sanders’ campaign stop Wednesday in Madison comes after a new Marquette University Law School poll showed him in a close race with Democratic rival Hillary Clinton ahead of the state’s Tuesday primary.
