A newcomer to the Fond du Lac school board was the top vote getter in Tuesday’s election. Former Fond du lac Reporter editor Peggy Breister, received 8,349 votes. Breister thanked the voters for their support. “I’m very excited to join the board. I’m really looking forward to it,” Breister told WFDL news. Incumbents Elizabeth Hayes and Mark Jurgella were also uncontested in their re-election bids. “Glad to do it again, I enjoy serving,’ Jurgella said. “Thank you to all the people who went out and voted for me.”
