A Milwaukee man is in custody following an armed robbery in the Fox Valley and subsequent chase with law enforcement on Interstate 41. Grand Chute police were called shortly before 10:30 Friday night to a report that an Appleton man had been robbed at gunpoint. A few minutes later Neenah police spotted the suspect’s vehicle on Interstate 41 and a chase ensued, ending when the vehicle hit stop sticks that had been placed on the road near Highway 26 in Winnebago County. A 27 year old Milwaukee man was taken into custody. Grand Chute Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call them at (920) 832-1575.
