The Fond du Lac School Board has elected a new president. At their organizational meeting last night the Fond du Lac School Board elected Mark Jurgella as board president. “Its a pretty nice priviledge to be presiding over the meetings with the group we have,” Jurgella told WFDL news. “I’m looking forward to this next school year and the remainder of this school year to focus our attention on making our Fond du Lac School District even better than it is.” Jurgella says at this point he doesn’t see a proposal to install artificial turf at Fruth Field moving forward. Jurgella, incumbent Elizabeth Hayes and newcomer Peggy Breister were sworn into office. Linda Uselmann was elected vice president, Hayes was elected board secretary and Susan Jones was elected board treasurer.
