The City of Fond du Lac Police Department has a new K9 officer. Officer Kyle Hoefer will introduce his new K9 partner “Brüx” next week. The pair completed their four week intensive training program on Friday. Their first regular patrol shift together as a K9 team will be Tuesday, May 10th. K9 “Brüx” is a 19 month old German Shepard and is trained as a Dual Purpose Patrol Dog; trained in handler protection, Criminal Apprehension Scent Work and narcotic detections.
