Milwaukee businessman and entrepreneur Andy Gronik says he is a progressive business person who wants to move the state forward. Gronik announced last week that he is running for governor. Responding to governor Walker’s comments that he is another far-left and out of touch candidate. “They say they can’t figure out why good people don’t step forward and get into politics. What happens in this arena is that people try to put up a smoke screen because the thing the Republicans don’t want me talking about is how we actually move our state forward,” Gronik told AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program. Gronik says he wants to restore collective bargaining rights lost to public workers under Walker.
