Fond du Lac High School officials and school resource officers are investigating after a student reported feeling sick after drinking from her water bottle. High School prinicipal Matt Steinbarth sent a letter to parents on Friday stating that on Thursday a student told the school nurse she did not “feel right” after drinking from her water bottle and expressed concern that something may have been put into her water without her knowledge. Steinbarth says the school nurse referred the student for immediate medical follow-up and her health appears to be stable. He says no other cases have been reported.
