The Waupun K9 officer helped track down a suspect who fled following an attempted traffic stop in Green Lake County. Waupun deputy police chief Jeremy Rasch says K9 Boomer and Officer Ryan Schneider assisted the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to located the man. The K9 tracked the scent and officer Schneider followed the tracks of the suspect to a local landscape company where it was learned a vehicle missing from the business. The Sheriff’s Office later found the suspect, a 40 year old Princeton man, at a residence in Waushara County. The man was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated-10th Offense, Fleeing and Eluding from an Officer, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
