4-24-18 fdl native announces bid for 52nd district assembly seat

A Fond du Lac native has officially launched his campaign for state  assembly.   Kevin Booth is running as a Democrat against Republican state representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt for the 52nd Assembly District seat.  “This campaign is about what we want to do and keeping that positive,”  Booth told WFDL news.  “This is not intended to be an anti-Jeremy campaign, its a pro-Kevin campaign.”   Booth says his campaign is focusing on community, economy and health.  He says Wisconsin has to become a leader in the renewable energy economy.  He also says the state needs to do a better job of helping communities get the lead out of the drinking water.  The 27 year  old Booth was born and raised in Fond du lac, graduating from Fond du Lac High School, and majored in economics at UW-Oshkosh.  Booth officially kicked off his campaign at an event Monday night at  Fat Joe’s restaurant in Fond du Lac.
