The Fond du Lac School Board is getting its first look at the needs of district facilities as it continues a process that may lead to a referendum. Meeting in a workshop session this week the school board got an update from Bray Architects and C.D. Smith Construction on $134 million worth of projects identified district-wide. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the firms have laid out a roadmap for facilities throughout the entire district and it will be up to the school board to prioritize what is needed. Sebert says the study found needs at all school buildings including Fond du Lac High School, which is 20 years old. The firms toured district buildings last fall, identifying projects including ADA accessibility, HVAC, building interior and exterior improvements, and electrical upgrades.
