Fond du Lac Avenue from Sixth Street to North of National Ave

Schedule: April 2018 thru October 2018

Description of work: The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, pedestrian trail, and lighting.

July 16th to July 22nd: The contractor will have completed the major work on stage 1 and 2 or from 6th Street to north of 11th Street on Fond du Lac Avenue. The contractor will begin the installation of underground utilities beginning the week of July 23rd for stage 3 or from 11th Street to north of National Avenue.

Traffic impacts: Fond du Lac Avenue will be re-opened to through traffic from July 15th through July 22nd. Stage 3 of Fond du Lac Avenue will be closed to through traffic from July 23rd until the completion of the project.

Project Detour: South National Avenue at the intersection with Fond du Lac Avenue to Fourth Street at the intersection with Fond du Lac Avenue.

East First Street from South Marr Street to South Park Avenue

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20th:  The utility contractor completed the installation of the water main. Crews have completed the installation of sanitary sewer main from Park Avenue to Ellis Street and will be installing sanitary sewer main from Marr Street to Ellis Street.  Crews plan to begin sanitary and water services by the end of the week. The contractor will be grading and placing concrete in the Marr Street and 1st Street intersection.

Traffic Impacts:  E. First Street is closed to through traffic. The intersection of Marr Street and 1st Street will be completely closed for northbound traffic at 2nd Street and eastbound traffic west of the 1st Street and Marr Street intersection until Friday, July 20thIt is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.

Ellis Street from First Street to Fourth Street

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20th: The utility contractor may be installing the water main from 2nd Street to the south by the end of the week.

Traffic Impacts:  Ellis Street from Second Street and First Street is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.  Residents will be restricted from accessing their driveways during work hours since there is limits room to safely pass by construction equipment.

Adams Street from First Street to Termini

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20thThe utility contractor completed the water main on Adams Street.  Sanitary sewer is planned to begin this week.

Traffic Impacts:  Adams Street is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.

Elm Tree Lane from Merrill Avenue to Termini

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20th:  The contractor will complete the installation of water and sanitary services in the beginning of the week. They will begin installing storm sewer and should be finished with underground utility work by the end of the week.

Traffic Impacts: Elm Tree Lane and the intersection of Elm Tree Lane and Merrill Avenue is closed to through traffic.  The Merrill intersection will remain closed partially as work progresses on Elm Tree because of limited room.  Merrill be signed as “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY”.  Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades.  Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.  Access to resident driveways will be restricted during work hours as utility work proceeds.

Grove Street from South Seymour Street East to Bridge

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20th: Alliant Energy gas main and service relocation work will continue this week.

Traffic Impacts: Grove Street remains open to traffic.

South Seymour Street from Western Avenue to Grove Street

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20th:  Alliant Energy gas main and service relocation work will continue this week.

Traffic Impacts: Seymour Street remains open to traffic.

Tompkins Street from Superior Street to Termini

Schedule:  June 2018 to September 2018

Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.

July 16th to July 20th: No work will be taking place during this time.

Traffic Impacts: Tompkins Street remains open to traffic.
