9-14-18 wi residents can help hurricane victims with blood donations

The American Red Cross says one of the most important ways Wisconsin residents can help in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence is by making a blood donation.  Jenelle Blavat with the Red Cross Wisconsin chapter says  the organization is  preparing  for a large relief effort.  Blavat says the Red Cross has pre-positioned  blood products and stocked many hospitals in areas likely to be impacted by the storm over the upcoming days.  Meanwhile a blood drive will be held from noon to 6pm September 17  at  Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira.
