The director of a pro-marijuana group says he is pleased to hear that Wisconsin governor Tony Evers is proposing to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use and legalize medical marijuana. Southeast Wisconsin NORML director Eric Marsh says the group plans to lobby Republican legislators to get both measures included in the state budget. Marsh says its ironic that possession of a small amount of marijuana is a crime when first offense drunken driving in Wisconsin is not.
