2-22-19 fdl man charged with attempted homicide

Bail has been set at a half million dollars cash for a Fond du Lac man charged in a drug-related shooting incident last fall that injured two people one critically.   Delaney Watt made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Thursday on 17 counts including attempted first degree intentional homicide, recklessly endangering safety, reckless injury with use of a dangerous weapon and multiple drug charges.    The shooting happened September 12  outside the Eldorado apartments on Forest Avenue.   According to a criminal complaint the shooting injured a 17 year old Fond du Lac girl and left a 26 year old Fond du lac man paralyzed from his chest down.  Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney says its fortunate nobody was killed.  Watt was arrested the next day on a drug charge and has been held in the Fond  du lac County Jail since then.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 1.
