The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Oshkosh police in the search of an Oshkosh man described as missing and endangered. The Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for Andrew Hildebrand. His vehicle was located at the Auburn Lake boat launch parking lot in southeast Fond du lac County May 14. An extensive ground and aerial search of the area last week was unable to locate Hildebrand. The Sheriff’s Office says Hildebrand has made no threats to harm the public, however, there is reason to believe he is in possession of a firearm and may still be in the area. The Oshkosh Police Department has issued a warrant for his arrest on child sex assault charges.
