Fond du Lac police have announced multiple arrests and the seizure of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine in two separate drug busts in Fond du Lac. On February 5, Fond du Lac police and Lake Winnebago MEG Drug Unit arrested two people and confiscated more than a third pound of heroin and a half pound of crack cocaine from a vehicle in the 200 block of Linden Street in Fond du Lac. Police say the drugs were supplied from Detroit to Fond du Lac. Police say this seizure of heroin is the single largest seizure ever in the City of Fond du Lac. The combined street value of the heroin and the crack that was seized is estimated to be $71,000. On February 19 police arrested a suspected drug dealer from Mississippi and confiscated more than $148,000 worth of methamphetamine. Police say this seizure is the single largest amount of methamphetamine in Fond du Lac.
