Fond du Lac police say alcohol appears to be a factor in a two vehicle crash over the weekend that sent six people to the hospital, two with serious but non life-threatening injuries. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says the crash happened Saturday night on North Main Street near Dutch’s Trading Post. “The vehicle was leaving a local bar at a fairly high rate of speed, apparently came around a corner onto Main Street, crossed over the center line and struck another vehicle almost head on,” Klein told WFDL news. The driver of the car that caused the crash, a 21 year old Fond du lac woman, faces multiple charges.
