A 12-year-old boy riding a dirt bike was killed when he was struck by a pickup truck in Dodge County. The crash happened at around 4pm Friday on Highway NN near North Tyler Road in Rubicon. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the youth crossed the road on his dirt bike when he was struck by a pickup driven by a 34 year old Neosho man. The boy was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
